Inventory & logistics.From availabilityto delivery.

A stock figure does not always show what you can promise a customer. SIXIS organises the steps for checking, reserving, preparing and handing inventory over for delivery.

When stock and order
do not match.

Blockages occur at the transition between the promise to the customer and the actual work in the warehouse, not only in the record of quantities.

  1. The same products are promised twice.

The sales team sees the existing quantity, but not the reservations for other orders. A colleague confirms availability without knowing that the products are already allocated or that part of the stock cannot be used.

  2. The preparation of the order requires many clarifications.

Warehouse receives incomplete codes, changed addresses or instructions in separate conversations. Substitutions and partial deliveries occur that need to be confirmed, but it is not clear who is talking to the customer and who is updating the order.

  3. Differences and returns remain behind.

The physical quantity does not match the record or a returned item goes directly into available stock. Without verification and responsible, the following orders may use information that is not yet confirmed.

What is checked.
Who confirms delivery.

We link availability, reservation and dispatch to concrete confirmations, kept in the place agreed with the team.

We can start with a warehouse, a product category or an order type. Physical checks and operation of the warehouse remain with the persons appointed by the company.

The SIXIS collaboration model
  1. We are tracking a warehouse order.

We see how the stock is checked, how the reservation is made and what information reaches the preparation. We compare the record with real examples and identify the moments when a colleague needs to ask again what he has to do.

From you Recent orders, inventory records, and product handlers.

  2. We define availability and reservations.

We separate the physical quantity, that available for sale, that reserved and products awaiting verification. We determine who can confirm each status and how a canceled reservation is released. The rules are adapted to the way the company actually works.

From you Reservation Rules, Product Restrictions, and Availability Criteria.

  3. We establish the information for preparation.

We agree what the order must contain: codes, quantities, location, packaging conditions and destination. We specify how replacements and partial deliveries are approved. The team sees what is complete and what needs to be clarified before shipping.

From you Preparation instructions and persons approving changes.

  4. We organize confirmation and exceptions.

Establish how delivery for carriage is recorded and where delivery is tracked. For differences, damages or returns, we define the necessary verification and decision. Returned products do not automatically become available until their status is confirmed.

From you Surrender documents, return cases and decision limits.

  5. We check the consistency of the process.

We track blocked orders, quantity differences and reservations left without justification. We check if the delivery information reaches the colleague who answers the customer. We propose integration or automation only for steps with sufficiently clear data and rules.

From you Team confirmations and examples of issues arising after application of the rules.

Two commands.
Same landmark.

An electrical materials distributor has inventory at two locations. Two customers request the same product, and one of the orders must be partially delivered from the other warehouse.

Availability is confirmed on location.
Designated person checks available products and existing reservations. The sales team does not use the total from all locations as proof that the entire quantity can leave one warehouse immediately.
Partial delivery is agreed.
The customer receives a verified proposal regarding quantities and terms. Once accepted, the order shows what each location is preparing and who is coordinating the shipment. Change is not just a phone call away.
Surrender and differences are visible.
Preparation and shipping confirmations are linked to the order. If a product is missing, the person in charge knows what needs to be checked and who communicates the new deadline, before the situation is presented as full delivery.

Questions about
stock and delivery.

What we can organize and what must be confirmed by colleagues who operate the warehouse.

Does SIXIS physically operate the warehouse and transport?

This ability concerns the organization of process, information and responsibilities. Inventory, product handling and transport are carried out by the company's individuals and partners. Any additional activity is clarified separately; we do not assume that we have physical access or that we can confirm the goods from the records.

Can we start if the stock records have differences?

Yes, but the differences must be made visible and verified by the responsible team. We can organize how they are signaled and resolved without inventing correct quantities. An order flow based on unconfirmed data does not become secure just by an integration or a new report.

How do we distinguish physical stock from available stock?

We determine which quantities are reserved, blocked, in check, or in another location. We define who can confirm availability for an order. The exact formula and reservation rules depend on the company's record and must be validated with the people who manage the products.

Do you also handle partial deliveries or replacements?

We can arrange for their approval, registration and communication. We determine who verifies the solution and who obtains the client's consent. A replacement is not automatically made just because the original product is missing, and a partial delivery must keep the remaining quantities and the agreed deadline visible.

What happens to returned products?

We define the route of receipt, verification and decision regarding the product. A return may require verification of condition, documents or reason. The authorized team confirms whether the goods can be resold, repaired or otherwise treated. Until then, the status remains explicit.

Do we need to change the management system?

We do not start from this assumption. We check what the current system can support and where its limits are. Some issues are related to data or responsibilities. If a change or integration is required, we evaluate it with the company and the suppliers involved.

Can you link the replenishment process?

Yes, we can define how shortages are reported and who decides what needs to be purchased. Thresholds must take into account products, deadlines and actual demand. Purchase, budget and terms with suppliers remain company decisions, and automation is evaluated after clarifying the rules.

What results can we pursue?

Orders held due to missing data, unreleased reservations, stock differences, and preparation delays are useful starting points. We choose the indicators for the concrete problem. The delivery time also depends on the availability of products and carriers, not only on the internal organization.

What order requires
too many checks?
